Hey have I ever told you fellas about my Spanish silver coins lol ha ha ha ha. If not I can PM you and tell you all about them. I can even post pics upon request :-)
On a serious note I thoroughly enjoyed hunting a couple newer sites and finding some nice indian heads and a Barber quarter. But damn I'm dying to find an old 1700s American silver. That's the goal

Your time will come my friend. You've got the determination and that's how you get there. Dig enough holes in the right spots and it'll happen. Prob be nicer than the rest of ours. Quick story for you. I have a buddy who has a T2 SE like mine. He'd never found an old coin before and I made it my mission to put him on the right site to make it happen. I took him out a couple times and we just couldn't get his coil over an old one. His goal was to find a large cent. So finally I took him out to one of my favorite sites. About midway through the day he's got the biggest smile on his face. I go walking over and he pulls out an old copper coin and a beautiful old cannon. I was psyched for him and said congrats you've either got an LC or a kg half penny. He sends me a picture from home and it turned out to be a gorgeous 1787 Mass State Copper. These things rarely show up. You hardly ever see them posted. The strangest part is that I had just found one a week before that. His has better detail than mine of course :-)That's the beauty of this hobby my friend. I've dug over 20 old coppers and finally got a State Copper. His first old copper ever was an awesome Mass state that you don't see very often. You just never know what's coming out of the soil next. You might dig a Fugio or a Nova or hell maybe even a Continental Currency coin. So just keep your head up and dig em all! You might make us all jealous by pulling something we've only dreamed of finding. All the best, Abe
