Barely Seated

Left work early to take advantage of the beautiful weather. My son and I kayaked to a spot where I found an 1888 dime last summer. Swung over the area where I found it and was surprised to get a faint high tone. Out popped my first final year Seated dime Other than some 19th century? horse tack, my only other keeper was a shield nickel.

Nice last year seated. Believe it or not, a few years back I found an 1891 seated dime, and 1892 Barber dime in the same day. Oddly the Barber was much more worn, but at least the date was clearly legible. Nice finds!
