It never snows in Southern Louisiana...LOL! It does once in a blue moon...but in our case, it was twice within the month of December. The last was in 2011. Anyway, my niece snapped this photo of my childhood home's barn. The other 2 are 2 local churches in town. Did I tell you I dislike snow, too much damage, trees down, power lines down, no electricity for 5 days. The last pic is of the old parish courthouse (historical landmark) built in the early 1800's

Nice pics . . . what Parish were those taken in?

With all the papers kept in those court houses, many built around that time are no more because of fires.

Pretty pics. Your story reminds me of when I was stationed in North Carolina. Never snows there until we showed up. :laughing7:

Something like 6-8 inches. Trees down. Life came to a halt. The whole motor pool said I brought it from Ohio. LOL.

Hey RR!! Yep, I 10/12 Closed here in Baton Rouge for several days. Only way to cross Miss River was over the "OLD" Hwy 190 Miss River Bridge!! Talk about TRAFFIC!! Anyway, GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! Hope You're Well!! VERDE!!
