I know this is out of the norm, but it felt like finding gold in the dirt. I visited the trade show in my town where antique and craft dealers set up booths. It's not big, but you can always find something that is interesting. I came upon this lady's booth and starting looking around. I was about to leave the place when a box of misc. items caught my eye. I started diggin through when to my surprise, there it was. A Jeff Bagwell rookie card. Then out of the pile i dug ou an uncirculated 1955 Wheat pennie (not the double dye :-[ ) Over all spending of $3 for the loot. I think I had a good day at the trade show.

Always a great day when you find something when your not expecting to have a good day!! This is "Todays Finds" and seems to be the place to post it. I've seen yard sale finds, finds from bank rolls, from books to other hiding places, thanks for posting!!

He found it by definition so it is a find. He was treasure hunting at the flea market and in his eyes he struck gold. A find is a find if it comes out of the ground, in the wall of a house, or a box of junk. If it was a 10,000 dollar card I would say put it on the banner. Good job pal! Keep your non dug treasure coming. I enjoyed seeing it.

great looking penny

the Jeff Bagwell rookie card is in great shape too
though I don't know who he is :tongue3:

Looking like your digging was quite successful !!!

Great finds!!!

Do you have a Beckett to look up the value of the card?

You posted in the right place so don't let anyone spoil it for ya.

a find is a find , im a big baseball collector, good to see something different , i have a lot of bagwell cards and im a die hard cub fan. post away

Congrats on yer treasure. It comes in many forms, but its up to the finder just how important it is.

It's too bad Bagwell kind of limped to the finish line, career wise. Had he been healthier, and still playing, he might have been a Hall of Famer and that card would be very valuable.

Taken directly from Beckett.

1991 Topps Traded Jeff Bagwell Rookie Card, value=1.50

I run a sportscard site on the side so if anyone has these types of questions or collects cards, hit me up and I will see if I can help you out.
