Baseball hat bottle cap?

[Linney13]

Hey everyone,
I was at a local park yesterday that was established in 1922. Most of the equipment is modern. When I was detecting on a hill I dug this up. It’s a bottle cap that looks like a baseball hat. I’ve never seen this before. If anyone has information on it I’d really appreciate it!

From the 60’s apparently:

Cool.
I had never seen one of those.

never seen one either, RARE bottle cap. Bet it wasn't around long, couldn't have been good for S&H!

[Mudflap]

I've seen a zillion bottle caps and never saw one of those. Cool.

Now I am going to have to start digging bottle cap signals!

Thanks for the ID! Never thought I’d say I found a rare bottle cap

those were around for a short time before screw top bottles. They were designed for crown top bottles so you could flip them open.
