an 8 aa pack is 12 volts.a 9 v and one aa is 10.5 volts.a 9 volt and 2 aa's will give you 12
volts.from radio shack get a 9 volt snap cap and a double aa holder.with a multi meter
wire them in series or parralel and see wich configuration gives you a steady 12 volts
(alkaline 12 volts rechargable around 10.5 volts).put a load such as a 12 volt interior car
dome light(also try a smaller load) and see if batteries overheat.watch polarity(+-)personally I would not do
this because I feel that the two different bats have differant amperes that would not flow right(but I do not know for sure).install at own risk.learn to solder and use a multi meter.
good luck

Thanks, I'll give it a shot...good hunting, ghosthunter

remember install @ own risk :o

I wonder if all the wires that connect to the batteries, connect to the same place on the circut board?
