I’ve used these battery packs before, and they work well. If you’re thinking of using an um2 battery instead of AAs with an adapter, just be cautious about the voltage differences since the detectors are designed for standard AA output. Some rechargeable options can be slightly higher or lower in voltage, which might affect performance. Regular alkaline AAs are the safest bet if you're unsure about compatibility.
