Life in the wild can be rough. Had a nest of baby birds outside the window not go undiscovered by a Blue Jay this morning. Poor little things didn't have a chance.

I guess it's the "recent" injury and pain (hasn't completely healed yet) aspect that makes me feel for that poor critter...BUT I give him/her all the credit in the world for keeping on fighting to live!!!
