Got my first two pickers yesterday on a claim new to me from a club I joined. Sorry my hands shake so much I cant take a picture to save my life esp close up. Anyway I was pretty stoked. Unfortunately I got bit by a black widow on a finger and my whole hand is swollen up today. I guess I am off to the Doc later today.

It was weird I didn't even really feel it. I thought I got a thorn. Bout' an hour later my finger was so swollen I thought I broke it on a boulder but then I could see the bite. I figured my hand was in cold water most of the time anyway so I just kept working. Defiantly migrating up my hand now though so I am going to the Doc later today.

Went to the Doc and got some kinda steroid cream along with 50 mg of benadryl for a few days and should be good as new. It migrated from below the knuckle on my ring finger to almost my wrist in about 24 hrs. Will be back in the same hole next weekend.

Thanks man. I finally got access to some good bedrock cracks. Now I am a crack addict...lol. Swelling went down on the BW bite so I am good to go.
