Beast from the dark ages

Here's the only good find from today. A piece of zoomorphic (animal headed) dark ages metal work 8th/9th century.

Probably a leather fittment, a bit like we have on the end of our belts.

Saxon stuff is overall fairly rare, it depends on the area.
