Beat the Heat...Barely!

Spent a few hours in the sweltering heat today on a new site that we've been waiting on for months. Unfortunately not as productive as we had hoped and it was absolutely littered in shredded aluminum.

Did pick up a couple keepers including the One Stiver which is in much better condition than I originally thought. Find of the day though was the engraved silver thimble. My first silver thimble so pretty happy with that! Thanks for looking!

Its a coin made for an English colony. My wife dug a half stiver which was large cent sized, so I’m sure a one stiver is massive.
