Beaten by the plough

[robfinds]

Had a few hours this morning, had what would have been two good finds unfortunately both have been plough damaged. Still it was a very nice way to spend the morning. The crotal bell is 17/18th century and the hammered silver coin is an Elizabeth 1 penny.

Beaten or not, I'd love to find one of those bells.
Congrats,

As we know, it often the way. I had a half crotal bell today which was binned. Still a hammered like that would have made my month.
