Finally back out in the fields yesterday … They have now been planted with Maize so are beautifully flat and with the sunshine it felt like the best place in the world!
First off this amazing complete casket key… thinking it is a zoomorphic end rather than just broken? Then a buckle, thimbles, watch winder musket balls, pot leg, buckle bits, button, tack pin, crotal bells, more buttons, Jettons/ tokens, Victoria penny, Roman Coin, cut hammered and an Elizabeth 1st hammered and of course our beautiful fields!
We have this week off, so spent the afternoon today getting finds catalogued ready for our trip to the museum on Wednesday 😆 and if the weather holds will be out digging every day! Life is good xx
