Just beautiful. I would have gotten it too!

Welcome to t-net and yes, that is beautiful.
You mean, you didn't fill up your suitcase with them?
I probably would have! :laughing7:

Yes welcome to Tnet. & I am jealous! Traveling in Tibet & getting this beautiful agate? Wow, talk about a dream come true!

Beautiful. I am also a fossil and mineral collector. The best things in my collection are jade and a fossil bivalve from around 175 million years ago.

That is an awesome agate. I am going agate hunting next week. I was going to go to the U.P but maybe I should change my plans. Never thought of Tibet for an Agate destination.

Very Cool!!!!!!!!

I would have done so as well and it would have put me over the weight limit for the aircraft. However, that's okay since I don't fly anymore, so I would have to take a slow boat to China per see. You only have to go down the runway twice sideways in an airliner before you decide never again! Once is bad enough but twice gives you a new perspective on life.

I would but it was the only eyecatching one amongst a pile of white, grayish or slightly greenish mundane looking ones :P was like a treasure shining in the cool morning sunlight.

Well Tibet is indeed awesome... just google images for lake Namtso, I wanted to pitch a tent and stay there forever! (as long as I can stand the Yak manures :P)
