Nice buckle! Nice little padlock too

Beautiful buckle, congratulations.

that one is very nice indeed

I love finding buckles! If there are that many buckles in your field, then I'm willing to bet that there is a lot more to find (especailly those smaller, round, silver colonial thingies...) Please keep us all posted on your future finds!

Found these at a colonial farm in Central Virginia in a new section of a 400 acre farm I have been hunting. 3 different colonial buckles with the silver one as a standout !! Not sure if it’s real silver or plated but definitely the nicest one I have ever dug.
Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

Not sure I'm seeing the Silver, but I'm seeing a very nice complete frame which I've only found small pieces of. Rare to see - congrats

many of these types are silver applied layer over brass and clean up pretty well , many of mine are shined up after cleaning with a jewelers cloth . congrats on an exquisite piece

It’s definitely silver but color faded a bit as I soaked it in white vinegar and salt for to long as it had tons of rust on it.

Outstanding finds- Congrats!

OK, might account for the very off colour in the picture.
