Beautiful unknown piece.

Found this morning. The closest guess I could come up with was toilet paper roll holder but don't believe it. The hole in the bottom is only about an inch deep. Pretty flowers and design on it.

Any Ideas?

Could very well be one of those. Fits very comfortably in the hand when held like there is something attached. And I believe its heavy enough to create a balance with a poker or shovel on the other end.

This isn't so much of a guess as I use a stove made by Mel Bersche to heat my entire house.
When the utility bills in the valley fluxuate between 3 and 4 hundred per month for natural gas...
Mine have stayed a steady 100 to 125 per month for years. this includes the electricity it takes to run my home shop. If the Backup Gas furnace comes on I get POed.

The utility company has come out three times in the last 15 years to investigate. LOL

I still use these tools, and have some that are hand made that you just can't go to a store and buy.
there is a stove and another set in the barn, and another of each in the equipment garage where the trucks and tractors are kept.
