Good idea with battery. I usually wrap in paper and tape like a gift (I’ve had get hot in pocket before which I’m not in a hurry to replicate) but like the idea of water proofing too.

It's a Draped Bust Cent....1802, looks much like the Flowing Hairs cents though.
