Beaver and Buddy

Was heading back from some prospecting last night, and while
passing by a rather large bog that's alongside the backcountry
road, I saw a beaver sitting on a log a ways back into the bog.

Parked a ways down the road, changed lenses and weaseled
my way back into the brush so I could get a decent pic. Didn't
realize he had company..

Back in the late 80's, I used to fish out of a fishing tube. One embarrassing trip ended with me being chased out of the water by an angry beaver that kept circling me, slapping it's tail and protesting my presence vocally lol.
