Beckley WV area

Hi I will be going 2 Beckley WV on the 19th,20th and coming home on the 21st this month. I would like 2 do some gold panning or metal detecting while I am down in Beckley. This will be my first time going 2 WV so if anyone is close and would be willing 2 have a day partner for detecting or panning please let me know. Also even if you are not close 2 Beckley could you please tell me the laws for WV thanks Chris

There's a couple people down that way. I'm about 2.5 hrs out. Laws.... If the state owns it don't touch it...County and cities the locals will have to help you with. Lots to see around there. Have fun
