Sorry about all the pics being sideways. I corrected the ones that I could but some end up sideways no matter what I do to the settings. It's bugging me so eventually I will figure it out.
I did get one of those coins that's cut and has another coin inside. Any one else get those? I had like 10 of them and sold them online before I found out you can break them open and see what's inside.
Nothing over the weekend. Busy with kids parties and golf tournament. Came into work Monday and the accountant says they just got $209 in quarters in from a school drive. I bought those and found a 1956. Good way to start off the week.
Hey beebs, I think I've found 7 of those magician's halves this year so far. I've also been thinking about selling them online, I have no use for them... Can't even deposit them in the coin machine for 50 cents! Did you sell them in a lot or individually?
I sold them in a lot along with some other halves I found. Like the ones that had pictures of Elvis on the front and some double headed ones. Listed it as odd halves that I have found while coin roll hunting. With ebay fees you don't make much but just list it so you will at least get your money back. Or just put them in the middle of a roll and return them to bank.
Finally went through the boxes I picked on Tuesday. Opened the first box and spot 3 enders. I like to save the best for last so opened the other one first.

Weird teller experience. Went to usual place at lunch and all new tellers. Asked for dimes and got what they had available. She asked what I was looking for and I said just older coins. She asked if I look for silver, I was like ummm yeah I like silver. She pulls out the 2 rolls of halves and said someone dropped off these and I hand rolled them myself. I know for sure there's a few silver in there. Sure enough I like this bank.
