A beach hunt this time, so, I figured I'd post it here. Platinum rings seem to be some of the hardest ones to find.....at least for me anyway. I think it's been a couple of years since my last one. Found it in the wet sand at a minus tide. It was down 2 Stealth 920i scoops, so, probably 10" to a foot deep. Found with the Equinox 800 in Beach 2, Sensitivity at 24, 50 tone, Horseshoe on, FE2 @6. Good, strong, 16 signal.

Nice haul cuda! Way to go11
Nice plat ring Cuda! Looks like it’s got some weight to it. I found one about 3 yrs ago with the At pro in knee deep water. Was just a bouncy deep signal. It’s The only plat ring I’ve ever found. Like you say they don’t show up in the scoop very often. I still have it and wear it all the time.

That's a Nice one Cuda!! Got to love the feel of the density, which sets them aside from all.

Nice find! does it fit your finger? I found a Tiffany Plat 950 several years ago about 12-14" under wet salt sand with my Dual Field. It fit me perfect so I cashed in my 14Kt wedding band and now wear this one. I got it cleaned at a jeweler who told me the replacement cost for this ring is $2000.00

Maybe with some soap or STP I could wedge it onto my boney ring finger, but, being someone who works with their hands all my life, I prefer not to wear ANY jewelry. I haven't weighed it yet and I plan to try and find the owner. Thanks everyone!
