"Benched " the GT today and took the Elite out...gold/?diamonds UPDATE

After yesterday's hideous ring find, I decided to give the GT a rest and opted for my "back -up" Sov. Elite.

Nice low tide allowed me to get far out on the muddy flats...found a nice 14 K Artcarved band with 3 stones...my Diamond tester is not reliable at this time, so I will take the ring to the jeweler's maybe this week to check them out and will post the results.


Ring gave off a solid under the coil mid-tone, and was approximately 6" in the muddy ocean floor; it is not so big, but I like to take "close-up " photos of my rings to show the details.

Also found a 1957 quarter...haven't found one of those in a while.

UPDATE: TESTED DIAMONDS ON RING TODAY...RESULT: POSITIVE FOR DIAMONDS
