Best ever older detectors (Pre-Multi Freq) at Target ID?

What do you think are the best ever/most accurate detectors at Target ID? I am curious in the older pre multi frequency detectors. White's MXT, Fisher's, Garrett GTI, T2,....., which detectors were the most accurate?

I still use an old Tesoro to check an area and then switch machines. Its fast super light weight and pin points great. Good discrimination on iron.
