best find do you think... barber Q, early 1800's button, or IH

Everybodys got that special 'go to' spot. Hit mine today. Farmstead from c 1896.

1893( s i think )barber quarter. First ever silver quarter for me. It amazes me ive never happened upon a washington. But ive got a theory on that for another thread.... (80s style detectors and folks cleaned those out technology is now allowing us to fine other stuff).

Anyways, 1901 IH. First one ever there.

A UN doubke guilt quailty coin/flat button. Callonballguys prior threads similar types has it somewhere c 1810-1830's. Thoughts welcome.

A whatsit that has 'DICK' on it. Pulled it out thinking prolly pre-Dicks sporting goods. Then thought mangled personalized bracelet. Nope. Im thinking company name of some sort and looks like a lever of some sort.

Then something ringlike i thought was a sparkplug washer but its got designs on it. Dont know...

thanks for looking...
Tim from MO

Duh...I didn't see the other posts.

barber quarters have to be my favorite us quarter, haven't dug one yet though

great finds!

Those are all great finds Tim, congrats on your first Barber Quarter. Any of those old coins are great finds, I'm glad you appreciate them. Never know when the supply will run out?

I've been getting into the flat buttons since the finds at my 1812 site and they tell more of a story than coins usually....who, when, where, how. Barber type coins are common and boring. IHs are pretty common, but the hunt for the 1877s are epic!

I Beg to Differ, Barbers are pretty Rare In my are these Days.
If anyone knows where these "Boring" coins are Please let me Know , Will drive up to 2 hrs.
