Best find STORY: That one hit in the dark in your front yard

So after drinking a beer at dinner, I decided it would be a fine night to detect…my front yard because where else am I gonna go at 8 PM at night? (Don’t answer that.) There’s evidence of old buildings on my property—which is unusual as I am in urban NJ. I’ve found lots of cool things there, but I’ve been wanting to detect underneath this huge old forsythia bush, which was too overgrown in summer. Tonight, I went over and swung my detector in that spot and my first hit was this cool button which I THINK (correct me if I’m wrong) is WAR OF 1812 MILITARY. 😱
