So after drinking a beer at dinner, I decided it would be a fine night to detectā€¦my front yard because where else am I gonna go at 8 PM at night? (Donā€™t answer that.) Thereā€™s evidence of old buildings on my propertyā€”which is unusual as I am in urban NJ. Iā€™ve found lots of cool things there, but Iā€™ve been wanting to detect underneath this huge old forsythia bush, which was too overgrown in summer. Tonight, I went over and swung my detector in that spot and my first hit was this cool button which I THINK (correct me if Iā€™m wrong) is WAR OF 1812 MILITARY. šŸ˜±

Very nice! We all could benefit from this reminder that "you never know what lies at your feet." Great job on searching out treasure close to home!
