You have the 2x2 example of the commemorative, which is the rarer of the two. Based off of my redbook, the coin without 2x2 to the right of the back of the heads has a mintage of 35,000. Yours has a mintage of 30,000 because it has 2x2 to the right of the back of their heads.
There were a total of 65,000 of the coins minted in 1921, but that is one hell of a find, congratulations!
I have been through many... many... many half dollar boxes and have only found modern non-silver commemoratives, you found 2 older silver commemoratives, that is sweet.
