Having a blast up here in New Hampshire.Hunting land that used to be cleared fields, now overgrown with woods. Hunted for a couple hours and found only a button, but then came on a solid 82 signal on the Deus, sweet full tone. Just 2 inches down was old Spanish silver! A small, well worn 1785 1/2 Reale. You can just make out the date and see some of the design on the reverse. Looking forward to 2 more days up here. I never saw a 1/2 Reale in person and was surprised how small a coin it is. (Quarter for size comparison) Also ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461148383.073800.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461148410.995655.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461148445.726974.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461148471.406890.webp found a large Tombac button in great shape. HH to all!p

I used to live in NH! I cant wait to get back there someday. Glad you found some keepers. I imagine its hard detecting with all the overgrowth.

Most guys in the metal detecting hobby will never find a Spanish Reale silver coin. Very tough coin to find! Nice dig!

Congratz on spanish silver!!!
