About 15 years ago I drove these two men back to their house on the Hudson River. Their car had broken down at our family gas station. On the way they asked what I liked to do. I told them about my favorite hobby of metal detecting. They told me how their house was a merchant place back in the 18th century. But nothing was ever talked about me getting to detect there. A couple days later they come to get their car and give me permission to detect their house with out me asking. Well sadly life got in the way and I never made it there.
Do any of you have a similar story?
