best place in the surf?

Where does everyone find most of the stuff in the surf? My beach at low tide always has some shallow water and then a small cut about 10 feet wide and 2 feet deep then a sandbar and back to a few inches deep, and then it just gradually gets deeper.

The majority of the gold I find is in the water, usually between calf and chest deep. If I was you I would search the cuts first. I have also had very good luck this year in the wet sand as well, remember wet sand at low tide was between calf and chest deep or deeper at high tide ................

One of the first things you should do is study your beach, see where the majority of people are laying and especially playing and concentrate there first. Many times I am in the water weaving in and out of the people in the water as I search. Sure lots of people will ask you questions, but you don't have to answer if you don't want to, you can point at your headphones and say sorry, I can't hear you as you move by the ones you don't want to talk to.
