Best Three Years ..Finds/Displays/Displays to Build Updated 12/6/12...

Folks it's going on three years for me now & with time has come change.Since I've moved to our new home I've been trying to get my stuff set up this time with a little description. When time allows I work on it.I'm getting close but still have a few more displays I would like to build those being my....... favorites/finds,indian pottery,& bottles shown at the begining of this post.My latest was a colonial shard display which once I got into it found out I had to cut it short just to much of it for me & would not leave me no room for others. :( Anyway here's how it's going...enjoy.
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Wanted to share this documentary about Colonial N.C.. I really enjoyed it & it explains alot about the region here on the coast.Really sums up what I've come to learn about my area in a Movie/ Video.Really brings it to life when you've been & found these sites such as mentioned
Video: Birth of a Colony: North Carolina | Watch UNC-TV Presents Online | UNC-TV Video
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Very impressive mass of finds.
Me likes

Imagine the stories behind all those different artifacts - it's awe inspiring.

Timekiller,That is one impressive display, well categorised! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:God Bless HH Chris

Has to be one of the best and displayed collections I have ever seen.. Awesome job.. The only thing I saw that I would change is in the first pic, I would move the larger bottles to the back.. I saw a round iron ring with a piece of metal attached to it, I have one just like it.. Always wondered if it's a wagon piece?? Great job you've done..

Thanks each one of you 8) It's what I do,like to do,& will continue to do. :icon_pirat: :headbang: I'm hooked no doubt but it's good clean fun & love every chance I get to do it.
Best to you All,
Pete, :hello:

It's like a little museum :hello2: How much is the entrance fee? or is it by donation :D
Really well done :icon_thumleft:
If you don't mind me saying though; do something to preserve those iron pieces, I've left things and watched them continue to degrade :(

Fee=1 beer & willing to talk.(cheap rates) :laughing7:
Iron= I know & is why I don't even bring it home anymore, rather leave it buried of course  Not much luck with it here most of the time it's in a egg shell state unless really solid thick built.Nothing inside of it if cleaned to even save(no solid iron left to it)
Thanks,
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Ha! I hear ya; I do the same thing now. Unless it's something real special, the time involved just doesn't seem worth it.

Lanny

Clearly, you love the relics .... :D
I like the small table with glass and many of the findings, perhaps the best for me would be the sword.
