Went detecting today with a buddy named Steve and we hit an area that produced two Gold class rings this summer, so I decided to dig every single pulltab signal. After pocketing about thirty of those precious beauties, I get another pulltab signal and look what appeared in the hole...

Yes, the tree root decided to grow right through the pulltab! If this had been an actual ring, I would have cut the root to remove it. I cut the pulltab instead. Trust me, no trees or tree roots were damaged in the removal of this target, but a few hundred Aluminum electrons were somewhat inconvenienced!
My reward today for removing over sixty pulltabs was in the form of a 1924 Merc...

While walking back towards my car, Steve pull a 1946 Rosie and I get a signal that I expected to be a zincoln. Instead, this 20 Kroner coin from Denmark surfaced!

A 1958D wheatie surfaced too along with a bling ring and the normal amount of clad so we had a great day out in the field!
