Better than silver, better than gold, better than diamonds...helped a vet

[qaela4]

Went up to Robin Hood Park for 1/2 and while detecting I heard a car not turning over. There is a lower parking area with a pavilion, which is where I was, and an upper lot by the water, where the vehicle was. So I put away my stuff and move my car to the upper lot. There are 4 other cars and one that just left ignoring this vehicle that won't start. I noticed the Veteran plates and ask if they need help. Long story short, I jump their car, thank the man for his service(25 years reserves), they ask my full name, thank me and that's my story for today. Hunt Successful!! :045:

Congrats on taking the time and doing the right thing.

That was a very nice thing you did. It would have been easy to just look the other way and keep MDing. Nice to hear that there are still people looking out for their neighbors and strangers. I am wishing you big silver on your next hunt

Good find and recovery!
Veterans are special enough to be worth some of our time and caring for sure.
