hello all,my brother found this a couple of years ago on the bank of a large river.it was just sitting on the surface.he wanted me to air test it with my at pro,and brought a silver quarter to compare readings.the blob read a solid 92,the quarter a solid 88.i'm pretty sure its solid silver, but thought I'd ask here for opinions.it weighs 155 grams.thanks for having a look.

Looks like melted silver to me. Maybe a site of an old building that burned down and all that's left of the fine sterling flatware or other household silver?. I guess an acid test will let you know for sure.

Could be slag. Acid test and let us know.
