Haven?t had time to get out much in the past few weeks, but finally squeezed a evening hunt in last night & tonight. Went to a home that isn?t as old as I prefer, but it?s just down the road & has large yards & field in the back. It was nice to hear the ?silver sound? on the equinox again!!!
Last nights keepers

I used to find a lot of foreign coins around the old mill towns here, especially English pennies. I think the American soldiers brought them home and gave them to their kids?
Odd spot for a British Penny

Very nice hunt getting the 3 silvers and the copper.
Seems that the British pennies get a real nice patina on them most times.

Congratulations on all those silvers Mike... I can't help it, but just love the colour of the old British coins. :laughing7:
In my opinion, the Walking Liberty is one of the most beautiful 20thc coins the US Mint has ever produced.

Best of luck when you get back there, sounds like there's more yet to be found.

...the copper is clipped. Did you clean it up and dry, and use any LED low-angled light, to get the details...?
Great Finds...! :icon_thumright:
