Big run of used tesoro's on ebay

Hey all.I have never seen so many used tesoro's for sale at one time on ebay.I know most people usually don't part with thier tesoro's. This is one brand of machine I have yet to try,but would like to. Happy Hunting.

I think Tesoro customer service sux. I open a new lobo and it went crazy on me ,did even use it. So i called them and they told me to return it. ( i had to pay for shipping ,out about $12.00). So when i finally got it they kept all of the the papers plus sent it back to me in a old use box . So i called and told then what they did ,they told me i had to return it again just to get all new papers & a new box. How stupid can stupid be?

Ok2raise I think you were treated very fairly and to want a new box is kinda funny don't you think? When someone claims a detector doesn't work the manufacturer doesn't know it you only tested it inside or had an electric dog fence or home security system turned on. Remember this Tesoro warranty is for life! Also how long did the repairs take? Be glad you didn't buy a Minelab.

So your saying you would buy a new detector in a old box with no warranty card or manual. No you wouldnt . How can i say its new when its in a junky box that looks like junk with no warranty card or manual ? well i still have it for sale do you want it if your saying its ok. im a dealer and been metal detecting for 40 yr so i think i might know a little about the operation of one. It took 3 weeks to get it back
So now why do think i was treated fair?
Why should anyone have to pay for return shipping on something that they never used and just took it out of a box. Then told to return it for the warranty card & manual & new box
If you think that fair your wrong

I had a new fisher out of the box that wouldnt turn on . I call Fisher told them what happen they sent me a shipping lable within in 2 day i shipped it off and had it back in week nothing was left out & in the same new box thats service they also said they were sorry this happen

Hello,
Detector arrived today. Happy with price and postage, however upon unpacking the coil it is obvious that the strain relief / cable retainer has been completely broken off and is able to slide up the cord...not attached to the coil at all..this is obviously a problem for warranty etc and it is repeated several times in the manual how important this part is and that coil performance may be affected? It looks as though it has been tampered with. I air tested it and it seems ok ...seems very unlikely that this occurred in transit as the box seemed ok
This customer sent me a picture of it ill try to pull it up. i would give you his name but he might not like to be put on this sight
he settle for a extra good deal on a wide sweep so i sent him one at my cost just to take care of a customer.

There is a problem . We first time went to the feilds and it dont want to turn on . We change battarys - the same . Its not turning on . What can it be ?? Seems to be its defective ?? Any advice what to do ??

The battarys where new from Shop , each battary 1.5 volts . Nothing helps ...

I opened dispute FIRST befor i wrote you here , because its the RULES of EBAY if you dont know ! The rules say that you must open duspute if you get defective within 45 days after payment ! Hop you will anderstand it .. I will close it when there will be every thing good , dont warry ! I dont wanna pay shipping , lets solve this problem in normay way please . THe item is proken , My digging season is broken , my mood is broken too .. Put your self on my place and you will anderstand what i feel now ..

Well it looks like the problem is that you bought it off .. EBay .. Like i said before you have to be mighty brave to buy a detector off EBay........... You will get screwed most of the time......

I think you might want to pack what you ship a little better.

We've had Tesoro's for years - they have the best - bar none - repair and customer service.

I didn't see anything that says Tesoro did anything wrong. (did I miss it somewhere?).

Those were emails that i got about Tesoro
I see that all your doing is running your mouth.with nothing to back it up with. For some reason you cant handle the truth a Tesoro . I also see some of you only do selected reading.
Those were other complains about their sorry Detector . Some of the detector were drop shippping. for those who dont know thats shipped straight from distribitor. Terry your a joke your just looking to argue on here when someone has something truthful to say . Maybe you sweep the floor out their for them

Ok,

You have me confused - Tesoro doesn't sell on Ebay - and, just personal folks and dealers of Tesoro's and others, that I know of. That "email"
you posted, about setting up a "claim" with Ebay - is against the seller (I am assuming you?), not Tesoro.

Again, having dealt with Tesoro's forever and a day, including me breaking my own by dropping it, and one having a dog chew the wire off, Tesoro has been absolutely wonderful.

They even fixed (for free) a used one that I bought. (needed a wire replaced).

In fact - they even sent me a free detector pouch with their free fixes.

They are THE **********'s of (that's stars) of the industry when it comes to their backing their products. If you are having a problem, I suggest you might look at why it is only you who is having the problem with them. (I am assuming you are an authorized dealer).

What you dont understand is that when a dealer sell s on ebay they are responcible for it and a buyer can file a claim against the seller until he makes it right not Tesoro but the dealer . im not the only one who had problims with them . ive post 2 other that ive had to make right because they recieved bad detectors.
Im sure other dont want to post to keep from other jumping on them like whats happening to me
