I saw this pic posted on this forum I think a week or so ago. Today i was trying to search for it on google images to show a friend. Then I saw a shark picture and it was the exact shark behind the divers. Not sure how i rememberd it but that shark is memorable lol. Anyway after some more searchign I found this site that shows the hoax. It has both pictures. Anyway i thought people here would find it interesting even if it is a bit off topic lol

Yep, it is amazing what some folks can do with Photoshop...

Yes that has been around for a long time snoopes says its fake also.

That does not negate the fact that that is one big freaking shark

I remember when I was a wee lad in the NAVY we use to anchor the ship and throw a cargo net over the side for swim call. Well while we were swimmin a shark just like that made a run toward us and as it would be Gunners mate "four eyes" McGill had the shark watch well I'll tell ya I was more worried about being perforated by old "four eyes" then I was by that shark. As I recall the Evaporators (make fresh water) were broke so we had not had a shower in a week I don't think we would have tasted all that good!!

Thatll get the blood pumpin. I couldnt imagine such a scene.

My boss once told a story about a friend of his he used to know. This person was an outstanding swimmer and free diver. 30 feet down for 2 miniutes to spear fish was no problem for him. Once when working on a transatlantic merchant ship, he was out swimming next to the boat. Apparently he did this fairly often. Well, noone else ever joined him, and they always teased him about sharks. This particular day, they were exceptionally frantic in their shouting, so he thought he would humor them, and headed back to the boat. As he started climbing the net, they were reaching over the sides to haul him up. At this point, he realized something was wrong, and looked down as he was being pulled into the boat. All he saw was the jaws of a giant shark coming up torwards him. He made it safely onboard, climbed up tot he harpoon gun, and skewered the fish. From what I hear, the thing was huge, but I cannot recall the size. Wish I could have seen the picture of him and the shark afterwards.

Like I said, this is a story told third hand, could be false, but, I have no reason to doubt it. It may have been embellished, but either way, I was impressed when I heard it.

The shark in that picture looks like he's smiling.Must be a friendly sort :D ,or he's full.HH Joe

could be the shark "Bruce" from "Finding Nemo"

Another reason why I stay on dry land........lol

I like the one with the chopper. I think they are fake also , I think if they were real the water would be a little brownish or yellowish if you know what i mean. :tongue3:......Cotton

the photos are fake matey--but the sharks aren't there be monsters in the oceans --that eat men --we're not but a sorry bit of meat in the oceans --we don't swim fast --have no fangs or poisons or sharp teeth --yep we are the twinkies of the sea -- cream filled yummies --- chomp
