I've been pretty busy lately, and haven't had much time to get out and detect, but I had a little time today, and I'm very glad I went out!
I got some new permission on an old, smaller house in the neighborhood, and started right away. In about 20 minutes, I was able to pull a somewhat crusty old merc from beside the sidewalk. I was already satisfied, and 30 uneventful minutes later, I got a banging 87-91 signal in the middle of the yard, right after digging some junk, and pulled a nice looking '44 walker right out of the plug! 2nd big silver of the year! Also found 5 wheats in between.
