Detector(s) used
Minelab CTX 3030, Minelab e-trac,
Garrett Pro pointer, Lesche digger, Lesche Sampson, Predator 31 Digger, Minelab pro pointer
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Went to an old motel made up of cabins from the 30's this morning that my son got us permission to do. After about an hour of finding nothing, got an 8-38/40 on the e-trac. Cut a plug and out pops a 1936 Walking Liberty Half, rescan the hole and find a 1937 Buffalo, and a 1936 wheat. Then about an hour later get a 9-44 at 7 inches and out pops another Walking Liberty, a 1943. What a morning. In 30+ years of detecting had never found a Walker, and then find two in one day. God was looking out for me this morning. Hope all this good luck continues tonight when I fish my bass tournament. P5300101.webpP5300102.webp

Nice finds cahil_2.

With that kind of luck you should walk away from your tourney with Big Bass and the winning weight also.

The Walkers are beautiful-my favorite US coins. You've got me thinking of trying some of the vintage cabin motels in my area.

Wow! Congrats on the two walkers.

Awesome digs!! Congrats on the big silver. :icon_thumleft:

I'm not surprised, It would take at least two to walk a buffalo.........

Very neat silvers for sure

wow!! 2 in a day is an incredible hunt!! congrats

Hey that's awesome! Crazy that it took 30 years and then BAM--two in one day. I have found 4 Barber halves, but never a Walker...I want to find one so bad lol!

That's a great day of hunting..Congrats..
