So I've been pounding this toboggan hill for the last year, I was figuring the place had been searched out,(by me) until I got my first real find of the day after about 2 hours; a silver dime. Then about a half hour after that I got a 96 on the Makro Racer. There is a bunch of old can tops out here that ring up in the same range, but this one was so clean, so perfect, it was really strange and just super groovy. Anyway I dug in with my shovel and popped a plug and this silver thing just popped right out. I took a bit of a look at it, knew it was a Barber and then put it in my pouch. I've been recently schooled that you shouldn't rub any silver or gold in the field but take it home and wash it off and not rub it. I did this with both finds today. Anyway, after I got home I got the dirt off to find out what I had. here are the results.:

I know the half dollar looks like I rubbed it, but I didn't, I swear!
