Tnet member P@tch picked me up this morning, and we headed to the latest site of my affection. It’s really nice, but I suspect it’ll be short lived.

I dug 124 coins today, by hand, no shovel. I’m sore and tired.

Here are the 42 wheaties I dug TODAY. That’s got to be some kind of record.

I also got a dateless buffalo, Cracker Jack gun and transit token.

Now to the shiny stuff. This is what I am TRYING to find.

This chunk has a silver dime in it. It was right up against the sidewalk.

I was tired and my feet were dragging. I had two silver dimes, and been at it for well over 5 hours straight. When I pitched the dirt out of this hole I knew it was all worth it. There was a HALF DOLLAR just siting there. All those holes, and finally the right one.

Here are the three silver coins that I found today.

I’ve been very lucky lately, third Walker in less than 30 days.

YTD silver coins: 73

Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts!

Congrats on the Walker! It's one of the best designed American coins ever IMO

Congrats on the silvers n all in general Sir

Buy a shovel dude! Imagine what you will dig up with an actual shovel!

Awesome detail on the Walker! Looks great. Well done!!! 🙌

Great haul there CT! Congrats on that pile of wheats and silver:icon_thumright: I'll send you a shovel for Christmas:laughing7::occasion14:

Now that's a good day congrats on the silver and wheats

Congrats on the Walker and Mercs Tom :occasion14: Keep the silver streak alive Bro. I hope Patch found a silver today, did he?

P@tch killed it, lots of silver. Sterling flatware, jewelry AND coins! The site is really good, relatively unhunted.

The shovel draws too much attention. We have to be really careful to look considerate.

Congrats on some nice silvers Tom. Nothing better than seeing a Half Dollar come out from the depths of the dirt ! O.K. Maybe there are a few things that would be better, but we will always take the Halves ! I never throw mine back.

Just the shear number of bend-overs for all those coins amazes me! Congratulations.

That was quite a day!!!

phenomenal! Good job on all them goodies. Freakin 42 wheats 1 day is insane, and of course the walker is great!

Excellent, Tom! 73 silver coins...NICE!!!
Shovel? Lesche and a screwdriver almost always.
