Big Sterling Silver Thrift Store Find

For $2.99 I got this 112.5 gram Sterling silver bowl.
You can see the sterling mark directly over the price tag in this picture I took still in the store.


Surprised nobody snatched this up before me.

I think more of those sorting people at the thrift stores look for marks in the center of the bottom and often miss the marks off to the side. Also there are many other pure silver marks they don't recognize, that don't have the word sterling and those are often missed and priced as silver plate. Good score. I'm always looking for cheap precious metals in thrift stores.
