Hey, I was talking to a farmer today that stripped some gravel from a creek bed. I asked to hunt arrowheads. He said know problem since he knew of me. Then he told me every year a group camps there for several days and pans gold. I cant remember the group initials , but there was a lot of them. I heard there is no gold in Arkansas, even read it. I have a stream full of black sand. Is it worth the effort to try to learn? Ray

That's really good advice! I know there's a place that looks alot like the picture that's posted... and I know there's supposed to be "no gold" here in Missouri, but I'm kinda wanting to get a pan or two and try it anyway... just to make sure. And I think there's landscape that fits your description there, OD... Hmm... ;D

Your right GPAA. Why would they come here for a week every year? They really keep it quiet too. Tiny little signs and big RVs.

They try to keep it quiet ...

because they want you to think...

There is no gold in missouri !!!

Dig down to the bedrock,if there is gold, thats were it be.

Again, I really appreciate the advice. As soon as I get my deer, Ill try it. Ive got to go back there and lug out a rock for eBay anyway. Thanks Ray
