My acid test kit came in the mail today. Tested the gold chain again, and it passed the 10k test but not the 14k. So that means its between 10 and 14 k, right? I have never used an acid testing kit before today so I really don't know exactly how this works. I found out a few of my "sterling" items were not so sterling after all...

Every piece I've found marked with the karat gold & CH has been gold plated, it's Mexican/Spanish for HGE basically.
