What a cool find. Can I see the back?

well the shoe pull offs on the right are an older style, my dad had a pair " try googling diamond horseshoe pullers" Diamond tools always had those balls on the end of their pullers, to the left is a shoval for a coal forge,
if i had to guess i would say, early 1900s i am not sure when Diamond first came into buissness.

will post back pics tomorrow
at work now

Nice one, You might try doing some local research there in your town to see who the names of the smithies were through the time period suggested that this may be from. It would be cool to connect this to the person who owned it, based on the initials.

Very nice piece of history.

Looks exactly like a seal used to emboss letterheads and business cards...

In fact I have one with a different emblem...

Might want to have a print shop have a look-see...

Pic of the back It may be an embosser that might explain hole in back
