Treasure_Hunter is correct as usual. I knew that all along. And BTW and on another topic, it is not all that uncommon to find new stuff strewn around or "planted" while we are out looking for the real thing, and busting our rears in the process.
Once at a battlefield, I saw some lady dropping what looked like white colored minie balls. Like why? Getting rid of the ex's collection?
I found a fake Netherlands Daadler on Coin Beach, Delaware a few years ago. I have posted on it before. It's made of pewter, not silver.
I was a member of a club once. (This was 30 years ago.) One guy had been practicing with his own home made atl-atl and lost the bannerstone. A year or so later (it was a plowed field), another member of the club found it! Of course he thought it was the real deal and when the maker said it wasn't he still didn't believe it. I never saw that artifact, and don't know what the end outcome was.
At one DIV someone "planted" a US buckle that was brand new! It happens. (I'm still annoyed by the Daadler.) It really had me going.
So...when you see a random news article or facebook post from someone who is NOT a member here, believe what you will. When Walter Cronkite did the news, you could believe it...
