Yea, the cold front brought gusty winds with temps in the 60's !!!

This is where I would normally make a cranking motion with my right hand and simulate the middle finger raising on my right hand. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT 60 DEGREES WOULD MAKE IT FEEL LIKE HERE RIGHT NOW?

:BangHead:

Sorry... didnt mean to scream. :laughing7:

Hopefully you will find a way to survive such harsh conditions! Show off

Nothing to speak of here. 1/2" of snow - could be any day in May.

It's all east and south of us. Ha Ha.

Well the states involved are at least trying to teach everyone what to do if the forecast turns out to be true. I guess most people in the northeast just moved there from Haiti this fall?

Good luck to you all though. Looks cold.( I remember getting nearly 2 ft in Raliegh about 15 years ago, but they didn't shut everything down there. Guess they figured southerners were used to it.)

it would make you feel all warm and fuzzy!

I knew I would illicit a not-so-positive response:laughing7: After I graduated college, I moved to FL...THIS is why!!! Be safe, and I hope Plymouth, SE Mass, and the Cape make it out OK.

Summer!

Winter will be over in another five weeks. When the snow melts, the ground will be saturated from March through June. That's when we're all going to be finding amazing Revolutionary War relics and pre-1800 coins. I'll take metal detecting those items over digging clad coins and jewelry any day.

Maybe a little optimistic on that one, but you never know. I checked my photos from last year and I found a 1916 buffalo nickel on March 27th. And I'm sure that wasn't my first hunt in March. No snow in the photo and the ground wasn't frozen.

Buttoned up and waiting with the fire burning bright. Wind is blowing but no snow yet, and only expecting 1-3 inches.....feelings go out to those to our South who are in the eye of this one...remember "this too shall pass"...stay safe and smart.....Gary

Well, I guess some people got it North of us, but we got nothing here. I am not complaining mind you. We were ready, just in case. They do pretty good with the weather predictions, but guess you never know which way the wind is going to blow.

20-25" where I am. Gust up to 70 mph. I'm headed to the beach tomorrow if possible. This storm will annihilate the shore and take a ton of sand with it. I just view this storm as an opportunity. But I worry about the less fortunate out there. It is extremely cold and I can't fathom the wind chills with these gusts

Didn't hinder these guys,6:45 this AM.Now I have to go shovel...while the 23 year old sleeps.

GOD Bless

Hey yeah! We had squirrels this morning too! What's up with that? My wife was saying, "Why aren't they hibernating?"
