BLM Attitude WTF

Yep real Jerk Wad I got when I called BLM to pay my maintenance fee's. Word for word ! hello Mr Craig what can I help you with ? I would like to pay my maintenance fee. Well you are the 18th in line so I suggest you go on line to pay your fee. I said it only takes 5 minutes and I had no problem the last time I called to pay, He said I have had 200 and something days to take care of my fee's have a good day bye :violent1:

Did the BLM person refers to the 200 plus days somewhere in writting?
Not very helpful for the phone transaction for sure.

Assembler, no I don't think so lol he knew how many days have gone by up to August 30th he was rude and its none of his business if I called 2 days before the deadline. After I told him my business he rambled on for a long time about something I did not understand. Any way he must of been having a bad day.

Perhaps there is some internal hard deadline in writing is the point. The guy may or may not share the info.

With all the stuff happening in the US right now, I bet working for the Dept of Interior sucks. Target of public hate, understaffed and overworked, always worried if your job is cut next, and no pay raises to go with it.

Yep, a lot of low-end people get a lot of work piled up on their plate.
Still most people with claims need the paper trail for proof of 'working the claim'.

Have you used "Certified mail" or "Registered mail"?

Even chartered members cannot talk about politics on the open forum.
The only place is in the chartered member section under politics.

I’ve always paid to be a charter member, and I’m paid up till next year so I’m not sure why my post was deleted. I see the gold badge under my user name that says charter member, so I’m not sure who or what your referring to?

Peter, even as charter member, political comments are only allowed in our politics forum, this is our Gold Prospecting forum, that is why comment was removed.

Non charter members can have their post deleted also if politics is part of the content of the post is what I'm referring to.

Keeping politics out of the picture the BLM fellow may have volunteered information about BLM's policy of taking up to 200 plus days to process all maintenance fees after the hard deadline of September first

Perhaps this policy is easy to find and read?

Thanks you guys for the comments lol. BLM is usually very helpful i had trouble navigating so I decided to just call and I understand ppl can have a bad day and you just don't know what they are going through. Good luck on your prospecting ⛏️

Just because one person may put you on the back burner does not mean that the fees are not taken care of in a timely manner.
