These are all finds from a dig I conducted last evening at my 1924-capped landfill, May 7th 2023:

The large bottles include:
1. Tooled blob C. V. Garrison Flushing L.I. made by the Karl Hutter bottling works in 1908.
2. Tooled blob amber bottle, no markings.
3. Machine-made Artic Fruit Juice Co. Norfolk Va.
4. Machine-made Peter Hauck & Co. Harrison, N. J.
5. Machine-made "Choc-Lo" soda from New York (all I know about this mysterious little soda is that it was made around 1920-1924)

The smaller embossed bottles in front include: Burnett's Standard Flavoring Extracts, Phillip's Milk of Magnesia, Bromo Seltzer, and a hand-tooled Ryan's Pharmacy bottle (made by the Whitall Tatum Company between 1901-1924).

I also found the base of a Dundee Marmalade jar, and next to that was an intact marmalade jar (far right), unmarked.

The several metal objects include: a brass butter knife, spoon, lip stick tube (Mijet's of Coty's Chypre Paris), a compact, and most interestingly a little brass whistle (B. G. I. Co. Echo '620' Pat. 1893) - and yes it works! 99+ years underground and the little whistle still works!

Nice digs, liking the glass.
I see that the whistle is classified as a Transportation police whistle in the search.

That’s fantastic! And now the items are preserved from damage. Great job👍🏼
