I have been running a Craftsman blower on my Gold Buddy Maverick. I think it is a 200 MPH unit. Does anyone know if a blower with more CFM and lower MPH is better or vice versa? It seems as though I need more air.
I bought a 450 CFM blower for my Dry wash.. it says 200 mph but that's only with its attachment that narrows the air flow. in the research i did Pryor i found that most people were running 350cfm to 450cfm.. but not many ever mentioned speed. Hope it helps...
The CFM is more important. The CFM is the volume of air moved which is totally dependent on the blower size and design. You can't increase CFM by changing nozzle sizes of shapes. You can increase MPH by changing to smaller nozzle size, as air squeezed through a smaller area will increase in speed but will never increase in CFM or volume.
