BLOWHOLE BUTTON IN KANSAS?!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dug this up today in a public park and it looks a lot like a blowhole button? My understanding is that they were made until the very early 1800's, but the town I metal detect in was founded in the 1850's. I imagine it's something different but would be cool if it was one. ALSO a bonus 22 mm shell casing from 1954 (Korean War).

Congrats on the button. To me it looks like a blow hole button. I think it's been flatten a bit. Wish the shank was still intact. Awesome find. There are older finds in Kansas, but you sure gotta look hard for them.
